🌍 The Story Behind

I was born in Bayonne, in the Basque Country, and I have Réunionese origins. I had the chance to grow up in an environment rich in languages and culture, which naturally shaped my openness and curiosity.

I have always been very active and grew up in a family of surfers. Deeply connected to nature and the ocean, I was a former surf competitor, and this sport still plays a key role in maintaining balance in my life. This strong attachment to the ocean and coastal environments naturally led me to become a sea lifeguard, and I am also involved in volunteer coastal clean-up initiatives.

From a young age, I have been drawn to technology, space, and engineering. As a child, I spent a lot of time building with LEGO, developing an early curiosity for how things work and how to create them. This interest grew over time and naturally guided my academic choices, leading me to pursue studies in physics and chemistry after high school.

I also have a strong international background. With my father living in the Canary Islands, I have spent a lot of time there and had the opportunity to study across three countries: France, Spain and the United Kingdom. This experience allowed me to master English, Spanish, and French in a professional context, and to work comfortably in multicultural environments.

Today, I aim to build a career that combines engineering, international experiences, and a strong connection to the environment.

🚑 Serving in Real Life

I was selected by the fire department to take part in an intensive one-week sea training program designed to assess both physical and mental capabilities. This highly demanding selection pushed me to my limits, requiring endurance, discipline, and strong mental resilience in challenging real-world conditions.

After successfully completing this training, I earned the status of volunteer firefighter and began working on the beaches as a rescue lifeguard. Each year, this demanding program must be completed again to maintain operational readiness and ensure peak performance in critical situations.

Over time, I progressed to the rank of certified lifeguard and became qualified to lead interventions. I was entrusted with responsibilities in high-pressure environments, where quick decision-making and teamwork are essential.

This experience has been one of the most defining in my life. Facing real emergencies, including severe accidents and life-threatening situations, taught me humility, responsibility, and composure. It shaped my ability to remain calm under pressure and reinforced the importance of discipline and hierarchy.

🤝 Volunteer Engagement

I volunteer with the Order of Malta, supporting first aid operations during sporting events. I also take part in beach and ocean clean-ups with the Hendaye Bidassoa Surf Club, contributing to environmental protection.
