Surfboard Weight Simulation & Cost Engineering

🔹 Product Engineering & Simulation

During my internship at Decathlon, I developed a reliable method to simulate the weight of surfboards during the design phase.

By combining 3D modeling and experimental measurements, I was able to recreate each component of a board (core, fibers, resin) and accurately estimate its final weight. The method reached over 99% accuracy compared to real prototypes, making it directly usable by engineering teams.

🔧 Data Structuring & Cost Analysis

In parallel, I worked on a data-oriented project focused on structuring and standardizing Cost BreakDowns (CBD) across suppliers.

I designed a new architecture to organize cost data (materials, processes, margins) into a clear and exploitable format. This structure improves cost analysis and prepares the migration to a centralized database.
